開始左九日我啲衫已經鬆咗啦
9 days in, shirts are already looser!

幾年前開始投入健康食物.講真可能因為啲肥減極唔想唔想離開我身. 但係身為一個廚師我覺得自己好想煮啲嘢食會係對客人嘅身體有幫助. 自己做咗好多功課去了解食物同身體嘅關係拍咗啲Online片同大家分享左我發現咗啲乜嘢. 而家餐廳 project 都係薄啲關於免疫力嘅餐. 依家迫啲時間出嚟去招呼自己嘅身體.

You may have noticed that I have started being more involved with cooking healthier food and getting more involved with understanding how, as a Chef, I can do everything I can to make sure what I serve you will be good to your body. It’s now time to sort out my own body.

其實我最擔心嗰啲嘢都可能因為屋企人有啲唔同嘅病例如糖尿病高血壓同埋膽固醇高. 自己都覺得因為肥會有脂肪肝.
My main concerns are Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Fatty Liver.

九日前同 何醫生+Lifehub team 開始自己嘅健康計劃. 如果大家OK嘅話呢我想間唔中同大家分享吓我經歷緊嘅過程同埋痛苦同埋成功.
I started my personal Health Journey with Dr. Ho and the Lifehub team. If its ok with everyone, I would like to make some regular posts about my health journey and talk honestly about what I am learning about this process.

咁究竟呢九日做咗啲乜嘢呢其實係冇做過運動嘅呢九日嘅痛苦就係 Detox 嘅世界裏面.
SO, what have I been doing for the past 9 days to gain some results? DETOX. Detox, Detox and Detox.

咁detox 唔係啲新嘢嚟㗎.但係今次真係要聽聽話話咁樣跟醫生嘅指示佢話一個健康嘅身體就要咁樣開始啦.
Ok, Ok I know, detoxing is nothing new, but Dr. Ho needs be to start here. So I have.

就好似將身體 detox 嘅內臟去reboot. 咁好多嘢就唔食得.
There are many ways to detox, but its really about rebooting your body’s detoxing organs. So there are quite a lot of things I need to avoid eating. Here are some of the big ones:

最大嘅挑戰就係唔准飲咖啡同埋下便果幾樣材料唔食得。
14 days, No: Caffein, Gluten, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Eggplants, Soy products
Eat: Lean meat, lots of fibre from vegetables

咁食得嘅嘢你一定估到啦就係啲冇乜脂肪肌肉同埋好多菜。醫生俾咗好多維他命我食同埋用I V 嘅 life drip. 排走啲讀咁個身體就可以function得好啲。
Dr. Ho has prescribed a course of vitamins and vitamin IV drips to support the body to detox more effectively.

呢個過程一啲都唔因為我習慣咗吸收咖啡因。咁當你無端端唔飲咖啡一段時間咁就會有啲頭痛。呢種痛會last幾日要飲大量嘅水綠茶都可以幫到手。
To be honest, Detox is not easy. Because we want to detox my body’s reliance on caffein, this is where I feel it most, lots of days of headaches
to push through. I haven’t been able to do any exercise coz the headaches need some management. Green tea really helps.
